My Journey from the ADF to Business Development
After a fulfilling career in the Australian Defence Force (ADF), I knew I wanted to continue making a difference in the world. Photography and videography have always been passions of mine, but it was my time in the army that truly shaped me into a problem solver, ready to tackle any challenge. When I left the army, I noticed that many good people running small businesses were struggling with business development, sales, and marketing. I felt compelled to help them, knowing that my skills could make a real impact.
My journey wasn't straightforward. Fresh out of school, I joined the army, and after my service, I found myself without formal qualifications. I gave university a try, but it didn't resonate with me. I then moved into real estate, where I gained valuable experience, but I soon realized that I needed a bigger challenge. That's when I decided to start my own business, focusing on what I'm really good at—marketing, sales, and development.
The driving force behind my work is simple: to help others succeed. I believe in lifting people up together, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive. My time in the army has given me a unique set of skills—not quite like the ones in the movies, but invaluable nonetheless. I've become an excellent problem solver, able to make tough but necessary decisions. My real estate background has also equipped me with top-notch negotiation skills, which I now apply in my business.
Looking to the future, my goal is to continue developing my business while helping other businesses succeed. I'm committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those I work with.
When I'm not working, you'll find me enjoying life on the Sunshine Coast with my two dogs and my beautiful partner. I love riding my Harley, and I have a deep appreciation for tattoos—they're a reflection of my journey and the experiences that have shaped me. This is the place I call home, and it's where I find the inspiration to keep pushing forward.
